He has been working as a professional musician since 1975, first as a freelancer and later as a member of the workers’ cooperative Unione dei Musicisti di Roma, with which he recorded hundreds of soundtracks and albums.
He began his collaboration with Maestro Ennio Morricone in 1978 with the film Un genio, due compari, un pollo, and from that moment on, he played in all of Morricone’s films that featured the electric bass.

In 1986, he joined the Light Music Orchestra of RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana as a permanent member, and between 1993 and 2008 he took part in 14 editions of the Sanremo Music Festival.

In 1990, he participated as a bassist in the Eurovision Song Contest. At the same time, he performed in more than 350 concerts conducted by Maestro Ennio Morricone around the world.
He has played with the National Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, the La Scala Symphony Orchestra, and several other orchestras worldwide.
