Laurus Quasar Red Canzian Project 5-string

- Neck: 5-piece Maple/Amaranth. The neck features an Anticorodal and Steel truss rod, adjustable with extreme precision for both concavity and convexity.
- Fingerboard: Phenolic resin with nickel-silver frets — frets are present only up to the 8th position and only on the three lower strings (A–E–B). The rest of the fingerboard is fretless-lined. This system allows Red to play accompaniment parts on the lower notes without looking at the fingerboard, while having the remaining area fretless for solo sections.
- Upper body wing: incorporates a tonal chamber with a suspended harmonic plate that vibrates like a soundboard, enriching the instrument’s tone.
- Central body section: includes another tonal chamber carved directly from the neck, fitted with a small tuning tube for chamber adjustment.
- Pickups: dual-blade ceramic humbucker.
- Tone control: passive.
- Nut: adjustable Laurus brass nut.
- Tuning machines: standard Laurus precision tuners.
- Bridge saddles: custom with “spoiler” design to enhance sustain.
- Finish: satin black polyurethane.
- Body: Kaya mahogany.
